Tritel’s 9th anniversary offers

Tritel Service (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka’s biggest payphone operator, has offered a massive reduction on outgoing call charges from last week to its estimated four million customers per month to mark its 9th year in service.

Tritel Services (Pvt) Ltd Chief Executive Officer Darryll Sinnappa Tritel said the company will slash off-peak local call charges from 33% for which the customers could enjoy communicating for Rs. 1.66 per minute via 5000 Tritel public phone terminals island wide from 6.00 p.m to 8.00 a.m on week days. Over the weekends the tariff reduction would be effective from Saturday 2.00 p.m till Monday 8.00 a.m.

Tritel today operates the largest payphone network covering 80% of the major towns and suburbs islandwide through regional offices in Colombo, Matara, Kurunegala and Gampaha.
