Mahinda takes campaign to London
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse has taken his election campaign to London by setting up a Sri Lankan expatriate organisation to canvass for him under the theme “Sri Lankans for Mahinda”.

Mr. Rajapakse’s London supporters organised a mass rally last Sunday to muster the support of the international community and the Sri Lankan expatriates in Britan.

The supporters called on the British public to help Mr. Rajapakse’s candidacy in a bid to take the country towards freedom and prosperity.

The campaign was launched by Mahinda Perera under the guidance of Sarath Wijeysinghe who is the chairman of the D.A. Rajapakse foundation in Britain and the action group “Expats for Mahinda”.
