Warrant for lawyer over missing file in Kandy courts
Police probing a case of a missing file from the Magistrate’s Court in Kandy, are seeking a warrant to arrest a lawyer who is suspected to be involved in the case.

A courts cashier and another accomplice had been arrested in connection with this case, Police said. The file deals with a case of brewing illicit liquor in the Galaha area, Police said.

The arrested men were remanded by the Chief Magistrate Harsha Sethunga.
