Charles here tomorrow
The Prince of Wales will arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow for a six-hour visit to the island. On his visit Prince Charles will meet President Chandrika Kumaratunga.

The British High Commission declined to comment on the Prince's proposed visit to the East. "We're not confirming any details of the visit at this time due to security reasons," said Colin Hicks, Spokesman for the High Commission.

But Batticaloa District officials told The Sunday Times that the Prince would be visiting the Batticaloa Kachcheri and meeting District Secretary V. Shanmugam. Prince Charles is due to arrive in Sri Lanka at 6 a.m. and leave shortly before noon.
