Harry Jayawardena reproaches top BOI official
A senior BOI official was reprimanded last week by Harry Jayawardena, acting chairman/Director General of the BOI, for failing to inform him about the visit of a German business delegation to the BOI office.

Informed sources said the acting DG, one of Sri Lanka's most powerful businessman, demanded an explanation from the high-ranking official who was among those who briefed the German delegation. Jayawardena is acting for BOI chairman Saliya Wickramasuriya who is abroad.
