‘Spirit’:Experience behind them
Five member band “Spirit” is the latest addition to the music scene.
Though the band is new for the secne, the members are having years of experience behind them.”Spirit”

The ex-members of ‘Golden Chimes’, drummer Shriaz Sudar, pianist Disanka Dannasekara, Bassist Eranjan Perera, and vocalist Lucky Deva come together to form this new outfit ‘Spirit’. Spanish guitarist Amara Guru is the only non ex-Golden Chimes member in the line up.

Headed by Shizaz Sudaz and Lucky Deva having gained considerable experience in performing for nearly 15 years in Sri Lanka , will use their talents and experience to and come to the limelight.

According to Lucky Deva, Spirit will be heading to gain the name as a ‘dance band”. ‘We play all stict tempo music including cha-cha, waltz, Jive, Pop Reggae, etc. and all varieties of songs from 60s, 70s, 90s, 91s which will entertain fans.’ Lucky Deva said.

The band will set to perform dances, weddings, musical shows during the coming season ,and plans to have a service of a female singer too.
‘There are few names, we are thinking of. But we havent finalised it yet ‘ he said.
