JAFFNA - Despite a cease-fire that has lasted for more than eight months and much talk of restoring normal life in Jaffna, residents still buy their petrol or kerosene in bottles from wayside shops. The government is yet to rebuild the network of petrol sheds here. Rajah of 'Rajah Fancy Stores' (seen in picture) sells petrol and kerosene as well as fancy items.
