Mahinda Nite 2022 at Galadari

‘The Mahinda Nite 2022’, organised by the Old Boys’ Association (Colombo) of Mahinda College, Galle (OBA) will be held on November 5, 2022, at the Bougainvillea Ballroom, Galadari Hotel, Colombo.
The event will be held in aid of the Mahinda College OBA Colombo Scholarship Fund and to provide financial assistance to those students who have made special contributions at national and international level in sports and studies.
Entertainment and music will be provided by Vision with Damayantha and the guest performance will be by Mariazelle Goonetilleke with Mahesh Senanayaka as the compere.
The Mahinda College OBA was started by Henry Woodward Amarasooriya in 1947 and some of the others who have committed to the development of the association are Professor M. B. Ariyapala, Vincent Panditha, Albert Edirisingha, Somasiri Ambawatta, Professor Vinee Vitharana, Edvin Ariyadasa, Professor Nandadasa Kodagoda, Dr. A. T. Ariyarathna, Dr. W. J. Wimaladharma, Lal de Alwis, Olver Goonathilaka and Guinness record holder W. B. Benet.
