Former BOI chairman to deliver Annual Olcott Oration
View(s):Thilan Wijesinghe, an old Anandian, will on October 29 deliver a lecture titled “Bridging the Ideological Divide that Caused Sri Lanka’s Economic Crisis” at the Ananda College Auditorium. This annual event by the Ananda College Old Boys’ Association is to commemorate the founder of Ananda, Henry Steel Olcott.
Mr. Wijesinghe, currently Chairman of TWCorp an investment bank he founded 10 years ago, captained the Ananda College cricket team and was the youngest ever to hold the office of Chairman Board of Investment. He later became the first Chairman of the National Agency for Public Private Partnership and is widely recognised as the pioneer in structuring Public Private Partnerships in Sri Lanka
