ComBank website wins global award from USA’s Web Marketing Association
View(s):US-based Web Marketing Association (WMA) has recognised Commercial Bank of Ceylon with a ‘Bank Standard of Excellence’ award at the Association’s WebAwards 2022, at which the world’s best websites in 86 industries were honoured.
The awards, adjudicated by a team of eminent independent Internet professionals, were based on an evaluation of the Design, Innovation, Content, Technology, Interactivity, Copywriting and Ease of use of each of the competing websites. Judges included members of the media, advertising executives, site designers, creative directors, corporate marketing executives, content providers and webmasters, the bank said in a media release.
Other winners of the Bank Standard of Excellence award this year were Lincoln Savings Bank, Peapack-Gladstone Bank, Carver Federal Savings Bank and Lenderfit, all of the USA. First National Bank and Trust, US won the award for Best Bank Website.
“We are pleased to have our website recognised by one of the world’s foremost authorities on the design and use of websites for commercial purposes,” Commercial Bank’s Deputy General Manager – Marketing Hasrath Munasinghe said.
