‘Retro Night’ at Taj
View(s):After a long period of silence, Sri Lankan music scene is slowly ascending to the top. To brighten up the scene, the ‘Retro Night’, the very first open air musical gig will come alive at the Grand Marquee of the Taj Samudra Hotel on Friday, September 9 at 7.00pm onwards.
‘Retro Night’ will feature some of the top names in the country’s Western Music Scene including Daddey, Wild Fire, Bathiya and Santhush(BNS), Freeze, Dalreen Suby and Mariazelle Gunathileke.
Tickets are prices at Rs 3000/- and are now available on bookmyshow.com. ‘Retro Night’ is a presentation of ‘Sadde’ led by Sajith Perera, the son of late Sunil Perera.
The first death anniversary of late Sunil Perera will fall on September 6 and the ‘Retro Night’ will be a kind of tribute show for him.
‘BNS will do a short tribute session in memory of the legend, while the rest will be a traditional retro music for dancing and parting’ Sajith added.
