View(s):Hollywood animation comedy ‘The Bad Guys’ directed by Pierre Perifel (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by Etan Cohen and Hilary Winston, based on the children’s book series of the same name by Aaron Blabey is now being shown in theatres.
Produced by DreamWorks Animation and Scholastic Entertainment and distributed by Universal Pictures the film stars the voices of Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Craig Robinson, Anthony Ramos, Awkwafina, Richard Ayoade, Zazie Beetz, Lilly Singh, and Alex Borstein.
In a world where humans and anthropomorphic animals co-exist, a gang of criminal animals, known as Mr. Wolf, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Snake, Mr. Shark, and Ms. Tarantula, have made a deal to go good to avoid serving prison time after taking some advice from Professor Marmalade. While Mr. Wolf and his gang are beginning to enjoy this new lifestyle, a new villain emerges.
Released in limited cinemas in Colombo and Kandy, ‘The Bad Guys’ started screening from March 25 at LSC – Liberty by Scope Cinemas, CCC – Colombo City Center, PVR Colombo 2, KCC – Kandy City Center, Majestic Cinema, Savoy 3D and Savoy Premier – Rajagiriya.
