Little things can grow into big things. Kalisha Devindi Munasinghe, an A’Level Math student of Gateway College Negombo has made sure to do little things every day during the pandemic to make one of her dreams a reality. Her work is an excellent example of how barriers can be overcome with perseverance.

“Little Things”an exhibition of her work was held at Heritance Negombo with the Principal of Gateway College, Devika Alldis as the chief guest. Kalisha has been painting since she was eight under the guidance of Dilshani Ranaraja of Little Fingers Art Studio.

Kalisha’s love for nature shines through all her paintings, as she has captured the mystery and magic of nature stroke by stroke.

Kalisha will be donating all the proceeds from this art exhibition to the Paediatric Ward of the Apeksha Cancer Hospital in Maharagama.
