The Peramaga 6-a-Side Softball Cricket Tournament, organised by the Peramaga Decade Group of the Past Pupils Association of Dharmapala Vidyalaya, Pannipitiya, was held at the school ground with Sri Lanka cricketer and fast bowler Kasun Rajitha, Acting Principal Mrs. D.N.P. Illeperuma, staff members, past pupils and several dignitaries gracing the opening ceremony of the event.
Over 20 teams were registered at this year’s edition and Fabric Lanka Team emerged champions in the Men’s category beating the Present Palians Team. In the Women’s category, Siyasara Team emerged winners beating Peramaga Team contested in a final.
Organised for the 14th consecutive year, the Peramaga 6-a-side Cricket Tournament is a source to further strengthen the unity and camaraderie among past pupils of Dharmapala Vidyalaya, and their contribution to the alma mater.

Men's winners Fabric Lanka, the skipper of the team being handed over the trophy
