‘Tribute To Clarence’
The spectacular online musical Concert will come alive in Tribute to legendary Clarence Wijewardena scheduled for 12th December, 2021 at the picturesque Nelum Pokuna Theatre at 7.00pm.
Twenty five living legends unite to pay tribute to Clarence, who originally sang his creations, in commemorating his 25th death anniversary.
While the legendary emcees Vijaya Corea and Ariyasiri Vithanage would unfold the hidden facts of Sinhala Pop, Annesley Malawana, Indrani Perera, Anil Bharethi, Shyami Fonseka, Lilanthi Karunarathne, Lankika Perera, Sanath and Malkanthi Nandasiri, Priyankara Perera, Priya Suriyasena, Chandani Hettiarachchi, Menik Chandrika, Lalith Ponnamperuma, Tyrone Mihindukula, Rohana Siriwardena, Dezmond Rodrigo, Vernon Perera, Dhammika Bandara, Saman de Silva, Athula Adikari, Walter Fernando, Ranil Mallawarachchi, T.M. Jayaratne, Thisara Fernando and Rajiv Sebastian are some of the top artistes billed to perform at the live streaming/ Live concert.
All the artistes at this live Concert will be backed by ‘Rajiv and The Clan’ and choreographed by glamorous Gayani Karunarathne of ‘Gayani Dance Studio’.
‘The most of the artistes will perform in medley form with their most popular hits to accommodate as much as sixty songs in entertaining the music loving Clarence Fans’ said Rajiv, the organiser of the concert.
