From Sri Lanka to Australia: SLIIT and Deakin strength partnership via new Nursing collaboration

Dr. Stephane Bouchoucha, Associate Head of School (International), School of Nursing and Midwifery at Deakin University, Australia commented on this exciting partnership, “Deakin University, Australia, is excited about strengthening its partnership with SLIIT, with introduction of a pathway to Deakin’s Bachelor of Nursing. The Deakin-SLIIT partnership of over a decade, is one of Deakin’s leading tertiary education partnerships in Sri Lanka, in the fields of Engineering, Computing, and now, Health. The articulation into the Bachelor of Nursing will see its first students coming to Deakin, Australia, in 2023 for their final year . The degree has recently been reaccredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) and the curriculum equips the students for the ‘real-world’ on graduation.
