First issue of J’pura University’s research journal released
View(s):The inaugural issue of the research journal, Advances in Technology (Adv. Technol.), initiated by the University of Sri Jayewardenepura’s Faculty of Technology, was launched on June 12.
Advances in Technology (ISSN 2773-7098) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that covers the theoretical and experimental research pertaining to the knowledge and applications of technology in all aspects of applied sciences, engineering and education, a university official said.
The first issue of Advances in Technology was handed over to University of Sri Jayewardenepura Vice-Chancellor Sudantha Liyanage, by Editor-in-Chief Renuka Nilmini, with the participation of the journal committee members at the launching ceremony held at the Vice Chancellor’s office.
While congratulating all authors on getting their manuscripts published, the journal and editorial team is grateful to all authors, reviewers and advisory committee members for the trust and the commitment showed, which helped launch the first issue.
