A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) and the Korea National Open University of South Korea is due to be signed.

They have entered into an agreement for developing the association in the sectors of Open and Distance Education, Capacity Development, Information and Communication Technology, Usage of Laboratory Facilities, Research and Publications.

The MoU will also cover staff exchange programmes. This week the Cabinet granted approval to a proposal by the Education Minister to sign the MOU.
