H2O1 in discussions with Water Board on cost-effective water supply
View(s):H2O ONE Pvt Ltd (H2O1), one of the leading providers of water and wastewater solutions, recently met with Chairman Nishantha Ranatunga, General Manager Eng. Thilina S. Wijetunge and other senior staff members of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) at their Head office in Ratmalana.
Both parties had wide ranging discussions covering several topics including strategies to reduce increasing treatment costs arising from higher levels of water pollution, roll out of new cost-efficient technologies and training of water professionals for the advancement of water treatment industry in Sri Lanka.
The H2O1 team highlighted how they can attempt and assist in knowledge and best practices transfer from Singapore, the company said in a media release.
H2O1 Sri Lanka CEO Eng. Chaminda Lakmal and Projects Engineer Sudesh Dias highlighted various new technologies currently being made available through H2O1 head office in Singapore and the recent discussion with the Central Environment Authority on the protection of rivers and other surface water bodies.
H2O1 is at the forefront of introducing new water technology to provide cost effective solutions in the Sri Lankan markets working closely with global and regional industry leaders.
