View(s):

Kingswood College in Kandy held a raffle draw recently for the collection of five million rupees for a secretariat for its “old boys” union; perhaps the first of its kind in any school.

This secretariat will house all the relevant material of the College’s old boys , as well as those who are leaving and those who have left already. This will also be a repository of all the documents of the school’s old boys.

On the first day of the raffle draw the organisers who are members of the Kingswood Union were able to collect twenty five thousand rupees.

The initial raffle tickets were handed over to school’s principal Upali Chandrakumara and the Kingswood Union’s Executive President Tissa Wijeyaratne.
