A tree for every bus

A tree planting campaign was conducted at the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) depot in Puttalam yesterday to mark International Transportation Day.
SLTB employees planted ‘Mee’ saplings within the depot premises to mark the occasion. The tree planting campaign is being conducted as part of an initiative to plant one tree for every SLTB bus.
