Kandy SC AGM on July 25
Dialog rugby league champions Kandy Sports Club will hold its annual general meeting (AGM) on July 25 at their Club House at Nittawela commencing at 10.00am.
Former Dharmaraja and Kandy SC players Mahesh Weerasinghe is expected to continue as the president for another year.
Former Trinitian Sujeewa Liyanage is expected to continue with his good work as the Secretary having done yeoman service for the Upcountry Club along with the Vice President Janaka Pathirana. Pathirana is also the secretary of Central Province and Kandy District Cricket Associations.
Former Kingswood, Kandy SC and Sri Lanka star Fazil Marija will continue as head coach.
Kandy will once again look forward to retain the league title they won under Nigel Ratwatte. The season ended abruptly due to Covid-19 resulting in the Clifford Cup Knockout Tournament being cancelled.
