Over 5000 PCR tests carried at J’pura University Dengue Research Centre
View(s):The Sri Jayawardenapura University Centre for Dengue Research which has being carrying out PCR tests for COVID-19 patients has carried out over 5,000 PCR tests so far. The University said a dedicated team of scientists have been working all seven days, late into the night, to provide the service.
The lab is currently carrying out further research activities in collaboration with the National Institute of Infectious Disease, Colombo Municipality Council and the University of Oxford.
