Colombo Medical Congress 2020 in February
View(s):As part of its 150-year anniversary celebrations, the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Colombo is organising the ‘Colombo Medical Congress 2020′, from February 12-15.
The academic programme for the congress will be on three themes: (1) A Legacy: Historical developments relating to health in Sri Lanka, (2) The Present: Current research interests in the Faculty, (3) Our Future: Advances, especially research advances, by faculty alumni and former teachers.
The faculty’s past, present and future will be celebrated at the historic location in Kynsey Road.
The event will have several components including pre-conference workshops, plenaries, guest lectures, seminars, pre-formed panels, oral abstracts and posters.
The organising committee said that several speakers, most of whom are distinguished alumni, have already confirmed their participation at the conference.
