Award winning actor Dharmapriya Dias’ play, “Mama Newei Wena Kenek” ( It’s not me), a Sinhala translation of British playwright Ray Cooney’s ‘Run for your wife’ will be statged at 3.30 pm and 6.45 pm on December 15 at the Tower theatre, Colombo 10.

Originally produced in 1983, the play was adapted to several languages and produced in several countries including South Korea and Pakistan. The film adaptation of ‘Run for Your Wife’, co-directed by Ray Cooney and John Luton was released in 2013.

It stars Jayani Senanayake, Shyam Fernando, Sampath Jayaweera, Theruni Aashansha, Anuradha Mallawarachchi, Thisith Laknath, Pasan Ranaweera and Kusal Madhuranga. The play is produced by Prashan Gunawardena.
