SLAAPS distributes free spectacles

The Sri Lanka Association of Administrative and Professional Secretaries (SLAAPS), as part of its CSR projects, has gifted nearly 500 spectacles in the last 10 years, with the objective of granting the gift of sight by restoring the vision of underprivileged people.
This year, this worthy cause received the gracious sponsorship of Ahamed Ali Ibrahim Al Mualla, the Ambassador for United Arab Emirates in Sri Lanka. The picture shows the ambassador handing over the spectacles to the recipients. Also present were SLAAPS President Ruveena Cader, Asst. Secretary Shireen Rajee and Project Chairperson Chandima Fernando, among others.
