The annual Sports Day of Al-Awwal School was held, with Mrs. Chandhani Jayawardhana, the national swimming instructress of Swimming Coaches Association of Sri Lanka, gracing the occasion as the chief guest. Parents and well-wishers together with the school staff were present at the event, where the students of Al-Awwal School displayed their capabilities in extra-curricular activities with great joy and pride.
Aabidha Ilmy was adjudged the ‘Al-Awwal All-rounder of the Year 2019’ and she was presented the trophy by chief guest Mrs. Chandhani Jayawardhana. Salma Jiffry, the Deputy Head Prefect of the school delivered the vote of thanks.
