Vidura College Kelaniya holds Sports Day 2019

The Kelaniya Branch of Vidura College Network held their annual Sports Day for 2019 at the practice facility of the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo last week. The event kicked off at 9.00am on August 1, with the participation of enthusiastic young students of Vidura Kelaniya, who are aspiring to become great athletes.The Sports Day was conducted with the intention of giving the youngsters the experience of taking part in sports events and the importance of sharing camaraderie among fellow athletes and participants. The eventful day was filled with track and field events, which gave the youngsters a firsthand experience in sports activities as they move on to the competition level. The Sports Day was organised and conducted by the Vidura College Kelaniya branch officials with the assistance of its staff, parents and well wishers.
