Stax Inc wins ‘Best Office Interior’ in Asia Pacific Property Awards
View(s):Stax Inc, a leading management consulting firm, recently bagged the prestigious Five Star Award for the Best Office Interior in Sri Lanka under the popular Asia Pacific Property Awards. Designed by one of Sri Lanka’s leading fully fledged Architectural and Design practices, Stax Inc’s award-winning office interior was done by Kahawita De Silva & Associates (Pvt) Ltd. (KDS), promoting the organisation’s work environment.

“As a multinational workplace, cooperation and knowledge sharing is essential for employees. Thus, the interior design at Stax Inc is aimed to promote visual and social stimulation. Upon entering, the reception area comprises of designed wall art that illuminates the company’s scope, followed by the concept of an open office area. Breaking the monotony of the workstations, the office further includes a soft seating area, featuring turf flooring and informal lighting fixtures. Apart from the open office, the organisation consists of three customised directors’ rooms, a contrasting meeting room, a concentrating war room and the focal point of the design, the conference room,” according to a company media release.
The recent Asia Pacific Property Awards Ceremony was held at Marriott Marquis in Bangkok, Thailand, where winners were bestowed the honored Five Star Awards. The projects presented by these front-runners were judged by an independent panel of over 80 industry experts who judged and evaluated development projects from across the region. This panel of revered judges was chaired by members of the House of Lords of the UK – Lord Caithness, Lord Best, the Earl of Liverpool and Lord Thurso.
