Bad weather spoils tennis
View(s):Bad weather spoiled yesterday’s proceedings in the 104th Colombo Tennis Championships which were scheduled to be worked off at the SLTA Courts in Green Path.
As a result, the Women’s Singles final between the top seed Anjalika Kurera and the bottom seed Janali Manamperi was put off for today whether permitting.
Meanwhile, the Men’s Singles semi-finals are also scheduled for today with the top seed Sharmal Dissanayake up against the 16th seed Liu-Hui Retallick and the bottom seed Dineshkanthan Thangarajah set to meet the sixth seed C. Nilaweera.
