‘Ravana Sithabhilashya’ at the Punchi Theatre
View(s):Professor J. B. Disanayaka and Namel Weeramuni’s jointly scripted “Ravana Sithabhilashya” – a Musical, directed by Namel Weeramuni will go on the boards on Saturday, July 20 at 3.30 and 7 p.m. at Namel Malini Punchi Theatre.
The music is composed and directed by two veteran musicians, Jayantha Aravinda and Lionel Gunatilleke. Choreography is by the talented Akila Palipana.
The cast comprises today’s stalwarts of the Nadagam style – Rajitha Hevathanthrige, Surangi Kosalage, Nihari Somasiri, Nilakshi Helapitiya, Chaminda Mirihagalla, Mahesh Rajaguru, Akalanka Welagedera, and others.
