The 3rd annual ‘Ride with Pride 2019′ Cycle rally was flagged off from Malay Street to Ganemulla last Sunday.

Unlike in previous years, this year’s event was open to all categories of top Cyclists and over 150 participated. The Army Commander flagged off the race opposite Sri Lanka Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) headquarters, Malay Street, Slave Island, and they proceeded to Ganemulla STF Camp, covering 30kms.

Cyclists from the Sri Lanka Army (SLA), Navy, Air Force and Police Men, Women and joyriders were seen in action with hundreds of spectators cheering the participants along the way to Ganemulla. This annual event is organised by the SLA, in collaboration with the SLEME.
