Renowned educationist Bandara Dissanayake felicitated

“Golden Icon of Japura Alumni” Felicitation ceremony that was organised by the Alumni Association of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura held at the Auditorium on the 26th of February 2019 at University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
This was to mark the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2018 won by Mr. Bandara Dissanayake thus becoming the first ever and the only educationist to win this coveted award in the 23 year history of FCCISL awards.
W.H.K. Wegapitiya who won the hall of fame award at the same ceremony of FCCISL also attended this grand event. In his speech Mr. Bandara thanked everyone who supported his career and also said he would be highly satisfied to win this coveted award in Education category which he would very much love and attending for more than three decades.
Distinguished guests, Invitees, Memebers of Alumni Association and well wishers attended this grand event to recognise one of the brilliant products of JAPURA. He further said he would be proud of his brain child Sakya Academy that has become a prominent education institution of Sri Lanka.
