The first of the Biannual Malaysia Education Exhibitions organized by Malaysian Education Center @ International Scholar in collaboration with Winning Magnitude Malaysia will be held at Cinnamon Grand – Cedar room on 09th & 10th March 2019 for the 13th consecutive year. Unlike at any other Malaysian Education Exhibition there will be 10 leading universities participating at this year’s event.

Malaysia is fast becoming a highly sought after education destination. Number of world top ranked universities have established branch campuses in Malaysia.  Cost of study in these leading universities is very affordable compared to studying in their host countries. Students from around the globe come to Malaysia to pursue higher education. It is a very peaceful country offering global experience closer to home. In order to broaden the student’s education experience beyond the class room many co-curricular and extracurricular activities are in place to ensure the student gain a holistic education while in Malaysia.

Culturally, there are many similarities between Sri Lanka and Malaysia. For those children leaving home for the 1st time it is a good steppingstone towards experiencing independence. In Malaysian universities the sale and use of alcohol is prohibited. There are separate dormitories for girls and boys. It is a very safe environment for children leaving home for the first time.

The Malaysian Education Exhibition is the largest Malaysia focused education exhibition to be held in Sri Lanka. As stated above, in this year’s event there will be 10 leading universities in attendance. Students have the opportunity to transfer to the parent universities in host countries after completing part of the programme in Malaysia, where there will be significant cost advantages. Malaysian universities offer attractive scholarships to students.

Parents and students attending this exhibition will have the opportunity to get information from all these universities under one roof.

When embarking on a degree, the prospective student must establish without a doubt the credentials of the awarding institution and its academic reputation. A qualification is treasured for life. Due diligence must be made in the selection of a university and the quality should never be compromised. A number of different scholarships are also on offer to international students to support their pursuit of higher education.

We at International Scholar play a major role in assisting the student to select a tailor made package covering the visa process, selecting of a suitable university study programme and accommodation all at no cost to the student.
