The 28th Mercantile Basketball League Tournament 2018 will come to an end with the finals of eight divisions of Men’s and Women’s scheduled to be worked off from tomorrow (November 26) to November 29 at the ‘HSC Blues’ Edward Henry Pedris Sports Complex, Colombo 4.

Conducted by the Mercantile Services Basketball Association the tournament was worked off in five Men’s Divisions and three Women’s Divisions. Fifty two teams, (the largest in the history of the Mercantile Services Basketball Association) and a total number of 123 matches in 54 days were played from September 19 at two venues-Sir Edward Henry Pedris Stadium and Sky Rim Arena-St. Joseph’s College, Colombo.

Like last year all Most Valuable Player awards will be dedicated to late Ranil Ganewatta.
