JF Packaging ‘Most Awarded Packaging Company’ at Lanka Star Awards – 2018
View(s):JF Packaging (Pvt) Ltd, a forerunner in Sri Lanka’s flexible packaging industry, received the Platinum award for securing the highest number of awards at the recently concluded Lanka Star Awards for 2018, organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Packaging.

The company was awarded a total of 11 awards which included 2 Gold awards, 4 Silver awards, 2 Bronze awards, a Special award, Presidential award and the Platinum award.
The two Gold Awards were for “Oxygen Scavenge Active Packaging system for Packing Prawn” and “Reducing of Alu foil consumption by 84% for Yoghurt lids” while the four Silvers and two Bronzes were for innovative, sustainable, healthier cost-effective packaging solutions. In a media release, JF Packaging said it clinched the Presidential award for the entry which scored the highest number of points, a special award and prestigious platinum award for the applicant winning the highest number of awards.

JF Packaging is currently working on commercial scale sustainable packaging requirements of the market. The company supplies almost all FCMG companies, including multinationals operating in Sri Lanka, and finds its packaging solutions and products filling up the shelves of supermarkets around the country.
