CB’s 8th edition of “A Step by Step Guide to Doing Business in Sri Lanka”

The eighth edition of “A Step by Step Guide to Doing Business in Sri Lanka,” published by the Central Bank has been released.

It has been categorised under three main chapters; ‘Starting a Business’, ‘During the Business’ and ‘Other Activities’, and contains useful information for the business community, potential entrepreneurs, foreign investors and investment promotion agencies, the banking regulator said on Wednesday.

Under each topic, comprehensive information is provided on relevant institutions, documentary requirements, regulatory clearances and associated costs. The necessary amendments up to mid-2018 gathered from relevant institutions are incorporated into this edition.

The publication can be purchased from the Sales and Distribution Counters of the Central Bank at its Central Point Building (Chatham Street, Colombo 1), Centre for Banking Studies (No. 58, Sri Jayewardenepura Mawatha, Rajagiriya) and Regional Offices of the Central Bank (Matara, Matale, Nuwara Eliya, Kilinochchi, Trincomalee and Anuradhapura) and the electronic version can be accessed through the Central Bank website (http://www.cbsl.gov.lk).
