The Academy of Bharathanatyam presents ‘Kin Kini’ a classical, folk and contemporary dance evening, which will be staged on October 13 at the 5.00pm at New Kathiresan Hall, Bambalapitiya.

The evening of dance is choreographed and directed by Kalasuri ‘Smt’ Vasugy Jegatheeswaran a renowned Bharathanatyam exponent in Sri Lanka. The programme marks the 42nd year of a remarkable and tremendous contribution to Bharathantyam by Natya Kala Mandhir. It will be an event introducing and highlighting budding talents.

Ravinatha P. Aryasinha, Permanent Representative to the UN Geneva will grace this occasion as the chief guest while Mrs. Rajashree Behera, First Secretary and Director, Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, High Commission of India in Colombo will be the guest of honour and Lion. San. Kuhavarrathan PMJF, Chairman of Hello Hytor Group and Member of the Western Provincial Council will be the special guest at the event.
