Unique ‘Star Globe’ presented to Science writer Tusitha Malalasekera
View(s):The President of the “Lanka Knowledge Bank”, well known Science writer and astronomer, Anura C. Perera, gifted a unique ‘Star Globe’ to renowned Science writer Tusitha Malalasekera, in appreciation of his contribution to the field of Science in Sri Lanka, for more than 50 years.
Mr Malalasekera has published several books on Science, conducted Science lecturres and held discussions with schoolchildren through the media.
The event was held at the Colombo International Book Fair at the BMICH. Owner of Samagi Publishers Nalinda Morias, Dayawansa Jayakody & Co Managing Director and immediate Past President of the Book Publishers Association – Sarasavi Publishers (Pvt) Ltd Managing Director H.D. Premasiri graced the occasion.
