Passionate and committed to help Sri Lanka Golf (SLG) spread Golf across the country, Dominic Wall will meet SLG officials to discuss the current Junior Golf Development programme that was launched in 2017. He will be visiting all 4 major Golfing facilities, namely Shangri-La’ Hambantota Golf Resort & Spa, Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC), Victoria Golf Resort and Royal Colombo Golf Club.

He will be hosted to dinner by NEGC President (Rtd) Major General Srinath Rajapakse at the Grand Hotel, and again in Colombo by SLG President Air Chief Marshal (Rtd) Harsha Abeywickrama.

He says Golf is evolving in Asia, probably, more than anywhere else, because we are seeing a number of countries which, traditionally, weren’t Golfing nations, become more actively involved. China, probably, is a leading example. There were no Golf Courses in China in 1984 and now, it has 500 Courses accessible to millions. One significant impact over the last 5-6 years is Golf becoming an Olympic sport.
