Lakna Kithmini holds second solo exhibition

Young artist and fashion designer Lakna Kithmini holds her second solo exhibition at the Lionel Wendt Gallery on August 4 and 5 from 9 a.m. -7 p.m.
Equally talented in both athletics and art during her schooldays at Yashodara Maha Vidyalaya, Colombo, Lakna chose to pursue her art to a higher level after leaving school and has had success in doing hyper-realistic drawings.
She is currently working as a fashion designer in a clothing store and has meanwhile completed her Higher National Diploma in Visual Communication.
This exhibition features work s where she has sought to combine different eras, cultures, ethnic groups, styles on her canvas – something she feels is a new concept.
