Sri Lanka will play host to the International Housekeepers’ Summit next month bringing together a number of Asian nations to share experiences and resolve challenges in servicing the traveller of the future.

The summit is being held for the third year and is scheduled to be held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo from July 4 -5 organised by the Asian Housekeepers Association on the theme “Rekindling Foundations of Housekeeping, Linen Care and Customer Services.

The AHA is a conglomerate of housekeeping associations from 11 countries and the summit aims at redefining housekeeping in the corporate strategy.

The summit will include a Buyer-Seller meet to enable business interactions with all the delegates. And as in the past, there is a unique fashion show showcasing hospitality attire by leading uniform designers.

The event will also conduct the second edition of the Asian Housekeeping Awards which honours the Best Housekeeper in Asia from among the entries received.
