Professor Ediriweera Sarathchandra’s ever popular play ‘Maname’ will go on the boards at 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm on March 30 at Sripali auditorium in Horana.

The first stylist play produced by Prof. Sarathchandra, ‘Maname; was first staged in 1956 and it won rave reviews and many acclaims.

Considered as the first real Sinhala stage play, ‘Maname’ marked the transition from traditional Sri Lankan fold drama like Nadagam to modern drama format.

Tickets are available at theatre gates.
