Gov. lauds A/L students with 3 A’s
View(s):Uva Province Governor M.P. Jayasinghe last week praised the 455 students from this Province, who secured 3 ‘A’s at the GCE Advanced Level. A function was held in the Simon Memorial auditorium, Badulla, in recognition and appreciation of the grades obtained in 112 schools.
Mr Jayasinghe said that all past and present ministers, secretaries and officials, together with the staff, contributed towards this achievement.
The students were given English dictionaries to improve their English knowledge. Those who secured 3 A’s were awarded certificates and gifts.
