Peter House champs at OKI International School Inter-House Sports Meet

Peter House with 234 points emerged champion House at the OKI International School, Wattala Inter House Sports Meet 2018 successfully concluded at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium, Diyagama recently.
Peter House had a clean sweep at the meet with a lead of 42 points against the First Runner-up John House scoring 192 points. Lucia House with 188 points and Mary House with 155 points occupied the third and fourth places respectively.
Tharushini Perera of Peter House won the Girls Under 20 title while Jehan Fernando of Lucia House declared joint winner along with Shehan Fernando of Lucia House and Kavindu Mallawaarachchi in the Boys Under 20 event.
Drill displays and march pasts by OKI school children added colour to the event. The colourful event was attended by a large number of students, parents and well-wishers and the occasion was graced with the presence of the Chairperson of the school, Mrs. Nirmalie Saparamadu, Director Academics, Hemal Abeysekera, CAO, Deepthi Kamalawarna, Network Principal Mrs. Mona Dharmawardhana, Head of Academic Operations, Anthony Alwis, Junior School Principal Mrs. Sarojini Guruge and Branch Schools Heads along with the Chief Guest, Colonel Sudath Madugalla, a former President of the AA of Sri Lanka.
