SLGU to expand golf coaching in schools

There will be multiple junior programmes and beginner programmes running from January through March. All programs will be run based on the SLGU player development process. Juniors will develop all the fundamental skills throughout the duration of the programme. Fundamentals include grip, stance, alignment, and swing. Parents too are welcome to join and learn with their kids.
Golfers will learn the following skills:
- Proper etiquette on the course
- The Rules of golf
- Full Swing fundamentals
- Short Game:
- pitching and chipping
- Putting fundamentals
And most of all how to enjoy the game!
Programs available include: Learn to Play Ages 8 – 10, Learn to Play Ages 11 – 14 and adult: beginners with child.
Subsidised cost of Programmes: SLGU is a “non-profit” organisation and its main objective is to promote Golf Island wide. Lessons are available to all levels of Golfer thru certified Instructors.
