To celebrate 70 years of a close relationship, the Sri Lanka-Pakistan Friendship Trade & Investment Association will bring out a coffee table book shortly featuring people who have worked together with the Association in building the bonds of friendship between the two countries.

The Association invites past Presidents, office bearers, members, former & current High Commissioners, diplomats, well wishers– including family members of those who have passed away – to get in touch with the present committee so that memories and stories can be recorded for posterity in the book.

“Our Association came into being soon after the independence of both countries, and we want to give due credit to those people who have been involved from the outset,” President of the Association,Deshabandu Ifthikar Aziz- Tamgha e Khidmat (Pak) said.

“We call on all past members, or their family members and all others connected, to get in touch with us urgently so that we can give them a prominent voice in this book and tell the story of the oldest country-to-country association in Sri Lanka through their eyes,” Mr. Aziz added.

He can be contacted by email atifthikhar.aziz@gmail.com or on 0777388574.
