‘Rassa Parassa’ in town
View(s):A new production of Rohana Dandeniya’s play ‘Rassa Parassa’ will be staged at 8.15 and 10.30 am on October 13 at YMBA auditorium Borella. The new production is done by Sriyantha Mendis.
The play is a prescribed text for Grade 8 Sinhala syllabus. The cast of the new production include Kusum Renu, Jayanath Bandara, Mahendra Weeraratne, Pradeep Aragama, Tharaka Upendra, Shan Amanda, Saman Paranaliyanage and Sriyantha himself.
Music and choreography of the play are designed by Rohana Beddage.
Jude Srimal is the main organiser. The play will also be staged at 8.15 and 10.30 am on October 17 at Panadura Town Hall auditorium and on October 19 at Kurunegala Townhall auditorium.
