Lady Gaga is taking a break from the live music scene in order to re-energise herself. Reports from the US say the ‘Poker Face’ and ‘Born This Way’ hitmaker will slow down for some healing. Gaga made a public appearance in Toronto, Canada on 8th September for the premiere of the Netflix documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two. Gaga is expected however to be involved in creating music during her break. Meanwhile the 31 year old singer has acted in the remake of the film A Star Is Born, which co- star Bradley Cooper.

Avicii the DJ, remixer, producer and performer has expressed his regret with touring which has taken a toll on his health. The 28 year Swede whose real name is Tim Bergling has recently watched a documentary of himself to realise how his youth was ruined by touring. During that period Avicii battled inflammation of the pancreas which was the result of much liquor consumption, a burst appendix and the removal of his gallbladder. In August Avicii released an EP which one of three parts of his next album. His some of his huge global hit songs were ‘Wake Me Up’, ’You Make Me’, and ‘Hey Brother’.

Zayn Malik has teased about a new album. Reports from the UK media say quote the singer as saying his second album will be out soon. He has already released a tracked called ‘Dusk To Dawn’ featuring Sia. Meanwhile in another development Zayn is sporting a bald look after he shaved his head saying his Hair was destroyed owing to excessive bleaching and will never bleach again.

Renowned DJ Steve Akoi has mashed up two Linkin Park songs ‘Darker Than Blood’ and A Light That Never Comes’ into the title ‘Darker Than The Light That Never Bleeds’ in memory of Chester Bennington.

The tribute remix was released on 8th September.

Avril Lavigne has performed for the first time in three years since she was diagnosed with Lyme disease. The ‘Sk8er Boi’ and ‘Girlfriend’ hitmaker joined the band Nickelback on stage at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles to sing one of the band hit songs ‘Rockstar’. Lavigne was once married to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger.

For a second week Taylor Swift’s song ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ has topped the UK singles chart. Now however the focus is on another song by Swift – ‘Ready For It?’ which was touted as a promotional single for her next album ‘Reputation’. The electropop/industrial pop track debuted on the UK chart at No: 7. The song is produced by Max Martin, Shellback and Ali Payami. ‘Ready For It?’ is the 11th top 10 UK hit for Taylor Swift.

Demi Lavato has gained entry to the UK singles top 10 as her song ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ advanced from 12 to No: 9. The song is very similar to Taylor Swift’s ‘Ready For It?’ The song is Lavato’s fourth top 10 in the UK where she is the lead/solo artist. ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ first entered the chart 12 weeks ago at 62. It has literally grown to its present location. The track is taken from Demi’s next album ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ which will be out on September 29.
