The Antonians came back with a bang in the second half to their impending defeat into glorious triumph in their match against Dharmaraja at Nittawela yesterday. The Rajans had gone into the lead at the breaks, and at 24-17 at lemons, they must have fancied their chances.

However, they had a terrible second half and the Antonians capitalised on their lapses to win by 34 points (five tries, three conversions, one penalty) to 24 (four tries, two conversions).

Skipper Dinuk Amerasinghe touched down twice, while Mohamed Makrim, Janindu Himsara and Mohamed Shabir scored one each. Samuel Maduwantha converted three tries and put over a penalty. Skipper Shenal Perera, Dulanjana Thilaksha, Gihan and Chamika scored tries for Dharmaraja. Referee: Dinka Peiris
